I have decided to use my owls as part of a poster design for the Paper, Scissor, Stone competition that ends on thursday. The brief is to depict 'Leeds' however you see it, and as owls make up the Leeds city crest I thought it would be appropriate. I have incorporates some type; the latin words "Pro rege et lege" (for king and the law) as this is the city moto featured on the crest. I am still contemplating colour choice... I wanted to screen print in gold onto some nice stock but for the first time this term, I really really can't find the time. I think I will experiment with one other colour tomorrow and print onto newsprint....
